钱币为广东双龙寿字币，近代著名珍稀银币。银币正面珠圈外上端镌 “广东省造”四字，下端镌“库平重壹两”五字，为柳体楷书。左右两侧各铸一蝙蝠图案。珠圈内铸满、汉文“光绪元宝”四字。银币背面珠圈外面铸双龙戏珠图案,珠圈里面铸有一圆形篆书“寿”字。银币正面两侧所铸的一对蝙蝠图案寓意吉祥，因为蝙蝠的“蝠”字与“福”字谐音，再与背面的“寿”字相对应，寓意“福寿双全”。 This is the Guangdong Double-Dragon Longevity Character Coin, a famous and rare silver coin of modern China. On the obverse side of the silver coin, above the beaded circle, the four characters "广东省造" (Made in Guangdong Province) are engraved, and below the beaded circle, the five characters "库平重壹两" (Kuping Weight One Tael) are inscribed—both in the regular script style of Liu Gongquan. A bat pattern is cast on each side (left and right) of the obverse. Inside the beaded circle, the characters "光绪元宝" (Guangxu Yuanbao) are cast in both Manchu and Chinese. On the reverse side, outside the beaded circle, a pattern of two dragons playing with a pearl is cast, and inside the beaded circle, a circular seal-script character "寿" (Longevity) is engraved. The pair of bat patterns cast on both sides of the obverse symbolize auspiciousness: the Chinese character for "bat" ("蝠") is homophonic with the character for "blessing" ("福"). When paired with the "longevity" ("寿") character on the reverse, it conveys the auspicious meaning of "double blessings of happiness and longevity".
