Centered on the theme of "first snow covering streams and mountains", the painting creates a quiet, cool yet vibrant landscape mood of the early winter snow.In terms of composition, Zhang Daqian adopted the traditional landscape painting techniques of "high perspective" and "deep perspective". The mountains are stacked and undulating, extending from near to far, presenting a strong sense of spatial depth. In the foreground, vigorous pine trees stretch out their twisted branches, with dense pine needles, fully demonstrating the tenacious posture of pine and cypress in severe cold.
